Mold Flow Chart

After receiving the customer's product drawings, hold a production meeting, study the process plan, make a product die-casting process analysis, and communicate with the customer to modify and improve the quality. After the plan is determined, the technical department begins to design the die-casting mold. The 3D software is divided into models, and then transferred to CAD for marking and drawing. The drawings are sent to the process department to make the process, or directly to the production management, he will arrange the procedures, and then process. Commonly used processing methods are: milling, grinding, wire cutting, electric spark and so on. After the parts are made, they will be collected to the fitter group. The fitter will assemble the mold and try the mold on the die-casting machine. The technician must be present. If the die-cast casting meets the customer's standard, it can be put into production.

1. Q: Which material that we often used for zamak die casting mold?

A: Zinc alloy die-casting molds generally use H13, SKD61, 8407, and other materials.

To be honest, the working temperature of the zinc alloy die-casting mold is right, and the red hardness of the die steel is not high. The hot work die steel of the national standard can meet the general zinc alloy die-casting mold.

1) Non-standard H13 is required to be extremely cheap;

2) The national standard H13 is generally required;

3) Electroslag H13, SKD61, 1.2344ESR, 8407 that require a higher life span;

4) The four high-hardness hot-work die steels LG, 2367, 8566, and YXR33 with hardness up to HRC54-58 for small zinc alloy die-casting molds that require wear resistance have good wear resistance and long mold life.

Among them, 8566 mold steel has a hardness of HRC56-58, high hardness, good heat resistance, and mold wear resistance; 8566 has high thermal conductivity, fast mold heat dissipation, short mold molding cycle, high die-casting efficiency, and is very suitable for small zinc alloy die-casting molds with large output.
